More new information has been appearing on the Kamen Rider Battride War Genesis official site as of late. Aside from character information, which I’d like to touch upon in a future post, there’s a slight expansion on the game’s narrative, as well as other news.
The About section goes on to address what the most recent trailer touched upon: the player, as Takeru Tenkuuji/Kamen Rider Ghost, will travel on the time-traveling train, the Den-Liner, to the timelines where all the known Kamen Riders of past and recent times first obtained their Rider powers. However, it seems that a mysterious entity has revived the monsters meant to have fallen at the Riders’ hands and empowering them with a greater power, one strong enough to wipe out the Riders’ existence from the point of their birth.
While the game’s premise is being formed, there’s a development that’s a lot more concrete. The Japanese band, Tourbillon, have supplied their new song, “Colorless Images”, to the game’s soundtrack as its official theme song. Their rocking sounds are no stranger to the Rider franchise, as they composed “Break the Chain“, the opening to 2009’s “Kamen Rider Kiva”.
I’ll be prepping some breakdowns for all the characters that have been announced pretty soon, so keep it locked here for more updates!
